The North West Trunk Road Unit covers approximately 1,422 km of trunk road through some of the most scenic parts of Scotland. It includes 1,501 bridges and structures, such as the Kessock Bridge (carrying the A9 north of Inverness) and the A87 Skye Crossing.
The area spans from Thurso and Wick in the Highlands to Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute, and from Uig on Skye to Perth and Stirling in the central belt.
