Job summary

ITS (Bristol) Ltd. is seeking a reliable Commercial Electrician for a 6-week contract on a fast-paced commercial site in Penryn, Cornwall. You will manage installation, containment, and wiring tasks, reading drawings and ensuring safety standards on site.

The role offers a full-time schedule Monday to Friday with overtime as needed and a competitive rate based on experience. There is potential for further contract work with the team upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings.
• IPAF certification is advantageous but not essential.
• Own tools and PPE and ECS/CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial electrical systems.
• Containment work (trunking, conduit, tray and basket).
• First and second fix electrical work.
• Wiring, testing and fault finding.
• Installation of lighting, power and distribution equipment.
• Working safely and efficiently in accordance with current regulations.
• Liaising with site supervisors and other trades as required.
