Job summary

ARC is recruiting an experienced Electrician for a long-term commercial project in Cambridge. The role covers all aspects of commercial electrical installation on-site, with typical hours 7:00am to 4:00pm and an immediate start. The contract runs through to March 2027, with weekly CIS payments and on-site parking provided.

You will work both independently from drawings and as part of a team to meet project deadlines, following site health and safety procedures and using your own tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent required.
• Experience with commercial electrical installation projects.
• Must own basic PPE and personal tools.
• Ability to read and work from drawings.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of commercial electrical installation.
• Installing containment including tray, basket and trunking.
• 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations.
• Cable installation, glanding and termination.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

ARC are currently recruiting experienced Electricians for a long-term large commercial project in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to secure work on a major commercial installation project running through to March 2027.

Electrician Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of commercial electrical installation
• Installing containment including tray, basket and trunking
• 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations
• Cable installation, glanding and termination
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Following all site health and safety procedures

Electrician Requirements

• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Previous commercial installation experience
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently from drawings
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
