Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a skilled maintenance/ electrical technician to organise and carry out the design, installation, maintenance, testing and repair work for managed properties, housing stock and external customers in line with agreed targets and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation.

Responsibilities include stock management to prevent delays, completing documentation and updating records, and identifying efficiencies to improve service delivery; pre-employment checks

Responsibilities

• Organise and carry out the design, installation, maintenance, testing and repair work for the Association's managed properties, housing stock and external customers in accordance with agreed targets and procedures; ensuring services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Manage stock/supplies to ensure works are not delayed.
• Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales; updating and maintaining manual and computerised records relating to testing electrical installations etc.
• Work in an efficient manner that delivers value for money, identify efficiencies, gaps in service delivery; communicating them to line management.

Job description
