Job summary

United Living Group in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Electrician to support kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes in social housing properties. You will install and replace sockets, switches, lighting, extractor fans, cookers and other electrical components, and complete first- and second-fix works to a high standard.

The role requires safety-focused, on-site work, strong communication with residents and trades, and accuracy in job sheets and installation documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the Social Housing sector.
• Valid CSCS card and asbestos awareness training.
• Experience using 110V or battery-powered tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works within social housing refurbishment programmes.
• Install/replace sockets, switches, lighting, extractor fans, cookers.
• Complete first- and second-fix electrical works to a high standard.
• Work safely and in line with regulations and site procedures.
• Liaise with site management and residents; complete job sheets accurately.
