Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrician for heating system installations, traveling across Norfolk and some across Suffolk. You'll install and wire electricals for domestic boilers, heat pumps and related equipment.

You will also wire heat controls, thermostats, and control panels, install cable containment, and perform first and second fix work. Collaboration with plumbers and heating engineers on site is expected.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3.
• Experience wiring boilers and heat pumps.
• Desirable: 18th Edition 2391.
• Clean UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to domestic clients across Norfolk/Suffolk.
• Install and wire electricals for boilers, heat pumps and heating equipment.
• Wire heat controls, thermostats and control panels.
• Install cable containment and perform first/second fix work.

Job description

Position: Electrician (Heating system installations)

Location: Mobile - Norfolk/Suffolk

Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 (DOE)

Electrician Job Overview

• Travelling to domestic clients across predominantly Norfolk, with some clients across Suffolk
• Installing and wiring up electrical supplies to domestic boilers, heat pumps and associated heating equipment
• Wiring up heat controls, thermostats and control panels
• Installing cable containment, running cables and completing first and second fix electrical work
• Working alongside other trades on site, including plumbers, heating engineers and apprentices

Electrician Job Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician, holding NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and 18th Edition 2391 Test and Inspection qualification would be desirable, but not essential
• Experienced in wiring up boilers, air source heat pumps and associated heating equipment
• Any experience working on additional renewable equipment such as Solar PV and EV Charging systems would be highly desirable
• Experienced working on renewable heating systems including air source heat pumps
• Based within a commutable distance of Norwick and holding a full UK driving licence

Electrician Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £42,000 - £48,000, depending on experience
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Company van provided
• No on call requirements
• 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
