Job summary

J2 M&E Services is a fast-growing electrical and mechanical contractor serving commercial and industrial clients across the Midlands. An Electrician is sought to join our expanding team and work across diverse industrial environments, including water treatment works and production lines, with additional commercial and small domestic projects as required.

Applicants should have a valid JIB ECS card, strong experience in industrial and commercial installations, and a willingness to travel with

Qualifications

• In-date JIB Gold ECS Card required.
• Experience in industrial electrical installations is essential.
• Experience in commercial and domestic installations.
• Knowledge of Controls wiring for ICA/Systems projects is desirable.
• 5+ years’ experience of electrical installations preferred.
• 18th Edition BS7671 preferred.
• Testing qualifications (2391/2392) preferred.
• Full, clean UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Organised, reliable, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of industrial environments including water treatment works, production lines, and factory installations.
• Support commercial and small domestic projects when required.

Due to recent project wins, we’re looking for an experienced Electrician to join our expanding team.

The Role

You’ll be working across a variety of industrial environments including water treatment works, production lines, and factory installations, with additional commercial and small domestic projects as required.

What We’re Looking For

• In-date JIB Gold ECS Card
• Strong experience in industrial electrical installations
• Good level of experience in commercial and domestic installations
• Knowledge of Controls wiring for ICA / Systems projects
• 5+ years’ experience of all electrical installations preferred
• 18th Edition (BS7671) preferred
• Testing qualifications (2391 and/or 2392) preferred
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel, with occasional working away
• Organised, reliable, and excellent communication skills
