Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an Approved Electrician to join a well-established team based in Bristol, with work across the UK. The role offers hourly pay of £20.00–£24.00 and a competitive package including overtime and a quarterly bonus scheme, with 37.5+ hours weekly.

You'll work on commercial, industrial and hazardous area projects, reading drawings, testing, maintenance, fault finding and installations, with clear progression paths to supervision and project management roles.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or recognised equivalent.
• 2391/52 Inspection & Testing qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out inspection, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Set out works and requisition materials as required.
• Complete site documentation and records accurately.
• Supervise and support electricians and apprentices on site where required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Approved Electrician to join a growing team.

You will work on a wide variety of commercial, industrial and hazardous area projects, undertaking electrical installations, maintenance, testing and fault finding to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out inspection, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Read and work from drawings and specifications.

What We're Looking For
