Within our Facilities Management division, the small works team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our clients' sites.

Position

As part of our continued growth, our FM division's small works team is looking to appoint an experienced and professional Electrician. The successful candidate will use their knowledge of electrical systems to complete a range of project works, mainly focusing on power & lighting, fixed wire testing remedial works, and new lighting installations.

(NOTE: This is a mobile role that requires you to be split across multiple sites in London, Surrey, and occasionally Kent. Each project will last 2/3 days to a week at a particular site. You will commute to the same site until the project is completed, so you will not be required to be mobile across multiple sites in one day.)

Further responsibilities include:

• Electrical installation works, mainly new lighting installations around fire doors and exits
• Electrical testing and fault-finding
• Estimation of small/minor works
• Organising and arranging materials for additional works

• Act in the best interests of BJF when on site and dealing with clients
• Work safely and to a high standard, following best practices

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357)
• Testing & Inspection (2391)
• 18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671)
• Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office Excel and Word
• JIB Gold Card
• IPAF
• PASMA
• CompEx 01-04
