Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Littlehampton is seeking an Electrician to join a reputable main contractor working on New Build Residential Houses, Apartments and refurbishment projects. The role involves completing electrical work on site, including clean room installations and domestic electrical tasks.

Applicants must hold ECS and CSCS cards, be familiar with the 18th edition BS 7671, and be able to undertake EICRs. IPAF is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• ECS and CSCS credentials are required.
• BS 7671/18th edition knowledge is expected.
• IPAF is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsive day-to-day repairs on electrical installations.
• Deliver electrical planned or responsive works, ensuring timely repairs and prioritisation.
• Testing and sign-off of completed works.
• Ability to undertake EICRs in domestic properties and relate to current BS 7671 standards.

The company:

A well-established Main contractor whose focus is New Build Residential Houses & Apartment as well as refurbished properties.

The role:

As the site Electrician you will be responsible for completing a range electrical work building clean rooms.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card

Responsibilities

• Responsive working - day to day repairs on electrical installations
• Deliver electrical planned or responsive works, repair works on time within given priorities and strive for repairs to be a first-time fix.
• Testing and sign off completed works.
• Will need to be able to undertake EICR's in Domestic properties. Be fully conversant with 18th edition Wiring Regulations

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previously a registered apprentice or undergone some equivalent method training and have had adequate practical training in electrical installation work.
• Must have obtained Achievement Measurement 2 and a qualified Electrician with relevant experience in social housing.
• Qualifications to include City & Guilds 2391, City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or 2351 or 2330 levels 2 and 3 or approved equivalent or NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or approved equivalent.
• Not essential but desirable to have achieved or are in the process in achieving their City & Guilds 2394 or 2395 in initial verification, certification, periodic inspection & testing of electrical installations or approved equivalent.
• Demonstrates practical knowledge and competence working as an electrician in the current edition of BS:7671 and inspection, testing and commissioning of installations.
