Job description
Overview

Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding across the site, supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installation and maintenance across the site in line with safety and compliance standards.
  • Install tray work, conduit, and other containment systems for electrical wiring.
  • Support additional electrical installation projects as required.
  • Carry out control panel wiring and ensure correct configuration and functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical circuits and systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase motors.
  • Implement remedial corrective actions to address electrical issues and improve system reliability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Skilled in fault finding and corrective maintenance.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering (essential).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
