Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting an Electrician for work within the Salisbury area. The position involves testing, inspection, and installation tasks across domestic properties.

Applicants should have City & Guilds qualifications, be comfortable with mobile work, and be able to perform reactive maintenance and installations. A van, fuel card, tablet/phone and pension are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing and inspection of installations within properties.
• Replace consumer units and install heating controls (training provided).
• Re-wires of domestic properties and reactive maintenance work.
• Project-related electrical works and site coordination.
• Produce accurate reports and ensure compliance with regs.
• Maintain safe working practices on customer sites.

Job description

Position: Electrician

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £38,000 to £45,000

Electrician required for our client, a leading Heating and Electrical company. They are looking for a qualified electrician with testing, inspection and installation experience.

The role would be very varied but key tasks would include: Electrical testing and inspection, consumer unit replacements, heating controls (training provided if needed), re-wires of domestic properties, reactive maintenance works, project related works.

Electrician Position Overview

The Electrician will carry out works within a 30 mile radius of Salisbury, however most of the work will be well inside this radius. The Electrician will be qualified up to the below qualifications and have previous experience of a mobile role carrying out testing, inspection, maintenance, installations and more.

Electrician Position Requirements

• City & Guilds 2365 (part 1 and 2)
• City & Guilds 2391 (inspection & testing)
• City & Guilds BS7671 (18th Edition)
• Must be based within a commutable distance of Salisbury
• Experience working in customer-occupied properties and dealing with customers

Electrician Position Remuneration

• Basic salary - £38,000 to £45,000
• Overtime available
• Company pension scheme.
