Job summary

The Role

As an Approved Electrician/Wireman, you'll support the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of HV electrical systems across a substation project. You'll work to industry-leading safety standards while ensuring timely, compliant project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing and maintaining HV distribution equipment, SCADA, signalling, and control systems


• Containment installation: tray, trunking, conduit, ladder rack


• Small wiring & multi-core cable works


• Fault finding, diagnostics, and testing


• Completing installation reports, test certs & daily records


• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications


• Using and maintaining HV tools and test equipment safely


• Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and operatives
