Job summary

Tech-People are recruiting an experienced Electrician for a project in St Ives, near Huntingdon, starting on 24/08/2026. The role covers industrial electrical installation and first/second fix works with containment, cable tray, and trunking.

You must hold a Gold JIB Electrician Card and IPAF, have strong industrial electrical experience, own tools and PPE, and be reliable for the full duration of the 4-month engagement. Daily rate advertised and on-site parking provided.

Responsibilities

• Industrial electrical installation and first/second fix works.
• Installation of containment, cable tray, basket and trunking.
• Cable pulling and termination.
• Installation and connection of electrical equipment.
• Installation of lighting and power systems.
• Working with armoured and other industrial cabling.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings.
• Testing, fault finding and assisting with commissioning where required.
• Working safely and maintaining good housekeeping on site.

Location: St Ives, Huntingdon area

Duration: 4 months
Hours: 8 hours per day
Rate: 250- 300 per day doe
Parking: free on site

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician/s with strong industrial experience for a project in St Ives, near Huntingdon, starting on the 24th August up to Christmas
This is a minimum 2-month opportunity, with potential for further work for the right person.
