Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Domestic Electrician to join a growing team. This role involves a variety of electrical tasks within private residential properties, supporting insulation and home improvement projects.

This is a field-based position with a company van provided. It will begin on a temporary basis with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations and rewiring

• Perform electrical testing and inspections in line with current regulations

• Install and maintain extractor fans, sockets, and other electrical fittings

• Work in conjunction with insulation and home energy efficiency upgrades (e.g., IWI insulation)

• Complete and issue electrical certificates (EIC, EICR, etc.)

• Liaise professionally with homeowners, ensuring minimal disruption and excellent service

• Travel between client sites (mileage reimbursed)

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

• Valid ECS card (preferred)

• Proven experience in domestic electrical work, including testing and certification

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
