Job summary

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden Limited is seeking an Electrician to maintain and install electrical systems across the studio facilities. You will work with the Facilities team to support productions, with a varied role including fault-finding and broader site maintenance.

Primarily based at Leavesden, there may be opportunities to support projects at other locations. A thorough background in electrical work and onsite presence is essential, with a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
  • BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
  • Electricity Supply Regulations Awareness.
  • Electricity at Work act awareness.
  • JIB/ECS card.
  • 2391 inspecting and testing would be advantageous.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor completion of tasks, ensuring the highest standards of work.
  • Monitor H&S compliance, such as correct PPE being worn, as per the H&S at Work Act and WBSL H&S Policy.
  • Ensure that the site's electrical and mechanical equipment are looked after in such a way as to maintain continuous operation and legal compliance.
  • Set approved levels of conduct for work methodology within the team.
  • Operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems via the BMS.
  • Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems.
  • Fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.
  • Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections including areas at height.
  • Audit and review of all stock levels and report to the Senior Electrician any required orders.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities and procedures adhere to applicable health and safety legislation, policies, and best practice guidelines.

Your New Role...

Join Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as an Electrician and play a key role in keeping our world-class facilities running to the highest standards. Working alongside our Facilities team, you'll be hands-on with the maintenance and installation of electrical systems across the studio, helping to support the productions that bring blockbuster films and TV shows to life. No two days are the same; from electrical projects and fault-finding to broader site maintenance tasks, you'll enjoy a varied role with opportunities to expand your skills across the wider facilities function. Primarily based at our Leavesden studio, you'll also have the chance to support projects at other locations when required.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Working Pattern...

This role is based on a 40-hour working week, with flexibility required to support the operational needs of both the Studio and Studio Tour. As such, you will be expected to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and some Bank Holidays. Given the nature of the role, there will also be an on-call element, requiring you to respond to emergency situations both during and outside of normal working hours when necessary. #SO Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
