Job summary

NuTrade Recruitment is seeking an experienced industrial electrician for an automation process site in Scotland. The role involves high-level work from a cherry picker, up to 35m, with conveyors and electrical installations across the line.

Applicants must hold a Gold JIB card and IPAF, with relevant industrial experience. Expect long days (10–12 hours) on a 12-week contract, with weekend work possible and strict safety/testing policies on site.

Qualifications

• Gold JIB card and IPAF certification required.
• Industrial electrical experience essential.
• Experience with conveyors and installation work beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install unistrut brackets onto conveyors.
• Install cable tray containment and junction boxes.
• Cable pulling, glanding, termination and connections to junction boxes and sensors.
• Work from gratings platforms at heights up to 35m.
• Follow connection drawings for sensor integration.
• On-site safety practices including drug/alcohol testing.

We are loking for an experience electrician with industrial experience for an automation process site. The work will be high level at around 35mtrs on a cherry picker, you will need to be confident at working at height.

The site is in Markinch with the opportunity to work weekends

We will need to install unistrut brackets onto conveyors, cable tray containment, junction boxes, cable pulling, cable glanding non-armoured and armoured, cable termination and connections following connection drawings into junction boxes and sensors.

The job is from grating platforms next to conveyors, some of the conveyors are quite high at 35mtrs, and at some points you can see directly through the platform the 35m to the floor.

Also, the site is strict about alcohol and drugs and they do random tests.

You will need gold JIB card, IPAF, and relevant experience.
