Job summary

Tank Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding within a specialist shipbuilding and marine engineering environment in Cornwall. The role covers vessel electrical systems, machinery and equipment through build and fit-out.

Key activities include installation, testing and fault-finding on three-phase systems, motors, control panels and drives, plus cable installation and wiring connections.

Qualifications

• Experience as an industrial electrician in a marine/shipbuilding environment.
• Ability to work with three-phase systems, motors, control panels and drives.
• Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment on vessels and in the shipyard.
• Work on three-phase systems, motors, control panels, drives and marine machinery.
• Support vessel electrical fit-out, including cable installation and equipment connections.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspections and fault-finding.
