Job description

LOGICALPS are one of the UK's leading labour providers to the construction and energy sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced electrician to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client is a global leader in engineering and facilities management services. Details below:

• £41,000 pa plus bonus
• Employer contributed pension
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• 40-hour week - 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.00pm Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPM and reactive tasks
• Perform Portable Appliance Testing across the site
• Be prepared to work variable hours Monday to Friday based on a 40-hour week
• Perform fixed wire testing and inspections on electrical installations in commercial, industrial, and residential properties
• Identify and diagnose electrical faults and issues, providing recommendations for corrective actions
• Ensure all testing and inspections comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company procedures
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, including test results and recommendations
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability

Experience Required:

• Fixed wiring testing experience / test and inspection experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 in Inspection and Testing
• ECS card or equivalent certification

SC clearance is preferred but not essential; it can be processed for the right individual.
