Electrician

Electrician required. Our client has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sector clients for over 40 years.

Successful candidates will carry out reactive and responsive repairs, project & upgrade Boiler Heating Controls ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the IET Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act. Responsibilities include:

• Carry out Domestic Heating Controls Installations
• Fault Diagnostics and Repairs
• Electrical Testing and Inspections
• Carrying out responsive, reactive and emergency electrical repairs
• Working and assisting on small project and installation works
• Ensuring compliance checks are carried out in accordance with current British Standards
• Reporting daily to supervisor/manager on the status of all works within the Department
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• City and Guilds 2360-1 or AM2 Level 3 Standard
• C&G 2391 or 2394/5 in Electrical Test and Inspection

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
