Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited seeks an experienced Electrician for a CAT B office refurbishment in Cardiff. You will perform 2nd fix electrical installations, install lighting and outlets, and work from detailed drawings on a busy commercial site.

The role is a short-term ongoing contract with a 47-hour week and immediate start. Applicants must have an ECS Gold Card and be able to read electrical drawings, with own tools and full PPE supplied by you.

Location: Central Square, Bridgeford Road, Cardiff
Rate: £29.00 per hour
Duration:Ongoing
Start Date: 5th October 2026
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00am - 17:00pm | Friday, 07:00am - 15:00pm

Electrician Required - Cardiff

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a busy commercial fit-out project in Cardiff. Working for a well-established electrical subcontractor, you'll be involved in the second fix installation phase of a CAT B office refurbishment.

This is a short-term contract offering immediate work and excellent site hours.

Duties Will Include:

• Carrying out 2nd fix electrical installations on a CAT B office refurbishment
• Installing lighting systems and power outlets in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Working to current electrical regulations and industry standards
• Following site plans and instructions from the Site Manager
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times

Requirements:

• ECS Gold Card (Essential)
• Previous experience on commercial office fit-out projects
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
• Own tools
• Full PPE including:
  • Safety boots
  • Hi-vis vest
  • Hard hat
  • Protective gloves
• Reliable and able to work independently as part of a site team

Health & Safety:

All health and safety procedures will be covered during the site induction. Fire exits, assembly points and emergency procedures will be explained on arrival. Full 4-point PPE is mandatory throughout the project.
