Job summary

We are seeking an experienced industrial electrician for an automation process site in Scotland. The role involves high work on conveyors, pulling wires, and making terminations from junction boxes to sensors, following detailed drawings.

Expect 10–12 hour days on a 12-week contract with weekend work possible. A Gold JIB card and IPAF are required, and working at heights is a key part of the job. Site safety and adherence to drug testing policies are enforced.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install unistrut brackets onto conveyors and cable tray containment.
• Terminate cables and connect to junction boxes and sensors as per drawings.
• Pull cables and perform glanding for armoured/non-armoured cables.
• Work from grating platforms next to conveyors, including 35m high sections.

Job description

We are loking for an experience electrician with industrial experience for an automation process site. The work will be high level at around 35mtrs on a cherry picker, you will need to be confident at working at height.

The site is in Markinch with the opportunity to work weekends

We will need to install unistrut brackets onto conveyors, cable tray containment, junction boxes, cable pulling, cable glanding non-armoured and armoured, cable termination and connections following connection drawings into junction boxes and sensors.

The job is from grating platforms next to conveyors, some of the conveyors are quite high at 35mtrs, and at some points you can see directly through the platform the 35m to the floor.

Also, the site is strict about alcohol and drugs and they do random tests.

You will need gold JIB card, IPAF, and relevant experience.
