Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Repairs Team covering Bristol, Bath and the surrounding area. You will carry out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance across domestic properties, ensuring residents' homes are safe and maintained to a high standard.

The role includes fixed wire testing, inspection and certification, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and occasional out-of-hours callouts with additional pay.

Qualifications

• C&G 2365 or equivalent electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspection & Testing
• Proven domestic and commercial electrical experience
• Experience with fixed wire testing, installation and maintenance
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, installations and maintenance up to 230v/415v
• Complete fixed wire testing, inspection and certification
• Accurately record work and complete relevant documentation
• Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota, with additional payment

• Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota, with additional payment

What you'll need:

• C&G 2365 or equivalent electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• C&G #removed# or equivalent in Inspection & Testing
• Proven domestic and commercial electrical experience
• Experience with fixed wire testing, installation and maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• A basic DBS check is required and will be paid for by the employer.

Proof of essential qualifications will be required before interview.
