We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our property services team covering the Blandford area. Please note: This role primarily involves working on the planned team, carrying out rewires and heating upgrades from the Blandford depot.

This position involves travel, and we will provide a van and fuel card, along with:

As an Electrician with SNG, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine testing and repairs of electrical systems in our customers' homes as part of our Electrical Team
• Responding to repairs and works within our planned teams, following work schedules, IEE wiring regulations, and SNG standards
• Maintaining a strong health and safety mindset, adhering to best practices
• Estimating, requisitioning, and recommending materials and spares to ensure quality repairs and maintenance
• Recording and reporting on the status and condition of electrical equipment via inspection sheets and certificates

Candidates must have relevant and current qualifications, including:

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect

Additional information:

• This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and call-out rates
• A valid driving license and at least 1 year of driving experience are required
• The role is subject to license checks, qualification verification, and a basic disclosure
