Job description

We are currently seeking an Electrician to work in the Basingstoke area and surrounding regions, specializing in EICRs, repairs, and maintenance within social housing. The role is initially temporary at £25 per hour, with the potential to become permanent.

The Electrician will be responsible for completing three tests daily, utilizing their skills, and will be tasked with:

1. Conducting EICR tests on entire properties
2. Signing off on electrical tests
3. Fault finding and repairing urgent C1 and C2 faults
4. Communicating with and liaising with tenants
5. Traveling to different sites to perform electrical testing

We are looking for an Electrician who:

• Has experience with electrical testing
• Has experience working on social housing contracts
• Holds a full UK driving license
• Has a clear criminal record (DBS checks required)
• Possesses an 18th edition qualification and AM2

In return, the Electrician will receive:

• £25 per hour, with an annual salary of approximately £40,000
• A company van and fuel card from day one
• A permanent position after 12 weeks, with a salary of £40,000 post-probation
