Qualifications

• Must hold a full, clean current driving licence.

We’re recruiting for an Electrician to join our team!Contractually based out ofBasingstoke, you'll cover the Aldershot and Basingstoke area. This is a full time, permanent position working 39 hours per week, alongside participation in the emergency on-call rota. You'll need to live within a suitable distance to attend out of hour emergencies within a reasonable time frame, and will be paid at very competitive rates for the on call rota!

Here’s the facts about the role:

As an Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical repairs and installations to our domestic and commercial properties. You’ll make sure you work in line with all current IEE Electrical Regulations whilst maintaining high Health & Safety standards. You’ll fault find on circuits and appliances, carry out cyclical P.A.T testing and electrical testing. You’ll also assist the building contracts team when required on programmed works.

You'll need to have:

• City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & Part 2 + AM2 Certificate OR equivalent.
• And NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation along with 18th edition wiring regulation.
• 2391/4/5 (inspect & test) is desirable but not essential.

Please highlight on your application if you're working towards these qualifications, should you not yet have them.You’ll be able to demonstrate good all-round electrical skills including testing, fault finding, repairs and installation. Experience working in domestic properties and/or for social housing would be an advantage.

A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
