An established industry player is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen City. This role involves liaising with supervisors to prioritize workloads, installing and maintaining both non-hazardous and hazardous electrical equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferable but not essential.
Fully qualified Electrician through recognized body.

Liaise with Supervisors to prioritize workloads and provide progress updates.
Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment, ensuring quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with Supervisors to determine and prioritise workloads
Preparation of electrical materials & equipment
Installation/commissioning of non-hazardous and hazardous area electrical equipment
On-going maintenance, testing, fault finding and repair of existing assets including completion of all associated paperwork
Co-ordinate with other disciplines to ensure activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Provide progress updates to Supervisor/Team Lead on job status
Carrying out offsite work/offshore work as required
Participating in the management of HSE within own area of responsibility
Delivering quality within own area of responsibility
Liaising with clients, 3rd party inspectors and surveyors.

Interpretation of electrical drawings
A well organised individual with an ability to prioritise
Excellent technical knowledge with proactive approach to problem solving experience
Good at analysing situations and informing decision-makers of any potential blocks to effective project execution
Effective team player, ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills
Calm under pressure and effective in meeting deadlines.
