Electrically Bias Multi Skilled Engineer

Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer ? Gainsborough ? 2pm - 10pm | 37.5 hrs/week | Perm Role ? On-Call: 1 weekend in 4

Join one of the UK's leading baking companies as a Multi-Skilled Engineer at their Gainsborough site. This is a permanent role offering stability, development, and strong progression opportunities.

About the Role

You'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of production by delivering top-quality maintenance and engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant equipment

Support production teams with technical expertise

Maintain accurate logs of repairs, parts used, and root causes

Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, and environmental standards

Participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) activities

Be available for on-call support (1 weekend in 4)

What We're Looking For

Apprentice-trained Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical bias preferred)

Experience working in food manufacturing or hygienic environments

Comfortable with instrument calibration, PLCs, HMIs, DCS/SCADA fault finding

Familiar with CMMS systems and preventative/predictive maintenance

Strong understanding of Safety, Health & Environmental practices

Flexible with shifts, as patterns may rotate (potential 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
