Job description

JCB is seeking passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Verification & Validation Engineers to join our cutting-edge product development team. We have openings suitable for candidates at both Engineer and Senior Engineer levels, offering a clear path for growth and leadership.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our electrical systems through rigorous testing and validation. You will work closely with design, software, and systems teams to verify functionality across a range of off-highway machinery.

What does this role involve day to day?

1. Developing and executing comprehensive verification and validation plans for vehicle electrical systems and components.
2. Designing and implementing test procedures to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of electrical systems.
3. Conducting functional, integration, and system-level testing to identify and resolve issues.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, software, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of electrical systems.
5. Analyzing test results, identifying root causes of failures, and implementing corrective actions.
6. Documenting and maintaining detailed test reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
7. Providing technical guidance and support to engineering teams in the development and validation of electrical systems.

This will be suited to you if

• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• You have experience in electrical verification and validation within the automotive industry.
• You have strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components.
• You have experience in electrical testing tools and methodologies.
