Overview

This Electrical Vehicle Technician Fitter role offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge military vehicles in a brand-new, purpose-built facility. Working 7:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 12:00 Friday with a starting rate of £19.22 per hour plus Overtime.

What You Will Do
  • Install, wire, and integrate electrical components and systems on military vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Diagnose and resolve system and sub-system faults using advanced diagnostic software.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions to execute tasks effectively.
  • Use SAP to order parts and equipment, liaising with internal departments and third-party manufacturers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Undertake static testing, acceptance tests, and vehicle movement within the site, with full training provided.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies, prioritising personal and team safety at all times.
What You Will Bring
  • Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles or Auto Electrical and Mobile Electrical Competence (or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication skills to liaise across all levels of the business.
