Job summary

Dovetail and Slate in Sunderland is seeking an experienced Electrical Tutor to join our established education team. You will deliver high-quality vocational education and guide learners as they gain practical skills and industry-recognised qualifications to launch or advance their careers.

The role offers a 36-hour week, Monday to Friday (8:30–4:30) with an early finish one day per week, plus a generous holiday package and comprehensive benefits scheme.

Qualifications

• Trade expertise up to Level 3 in a relevant vocational trade.
• Recognised teaching qualifications such as AET, PTLLS, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent (desirable).
• Strong understanding of Education, Vocational Skills and Training sectors.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon‑Fri: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, including an early 3:00 PM finish one day per week)

Salary Range: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum

An established Training Provider is looking for an experienced Electrical Tutor to join their team. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality vocational education, guiding and supporting learners as they gain practical skills and industry‑recognised qualifications to launch or advance their careers.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Trade expertise: Qualified up to Level 3 in a relevant vocational trade.
• Teaching & assessment qualifications: Recognised qualifications such as AET, PTLLS, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent (desirable).
• Industry insight: Strong understanding of the Education, Vocational Skills, and Training sectors.
