Job summary

MKC Training is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join as an Electrical Theory Trainer at Brompton Barracks. You will share electrical theory, maths and science with military students and help them progress toward teaching qualifications.

We offer a competitive salary of £46K–£49K, a 37-hour week, generous holidays, pension, private healthcare, on-site gym and ongoing professional development. Full support to attain teaching qualifications is provided.

Qualifications

• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge.
• Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4.
• Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (willing to achieve funded teaching qualifications).

Electrical Trainer experience:

• HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge
• Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4
• Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (+ willingness to achieve funded teaching qualifications).

Additional desirable experience to support your application:

An understanding of;

• Domestic and Commercial electrical installations – Single and 3 phase
• 1st Fix, Conduit, Tray work, Single Core, Multi Core Inspection, Testing and Commissioning
• Power Production and Distribution
• C&G 236 Pt 1&2 / 2330 / 2365 / 2357 / 2391 / 2396
• A1 Assessor
• V1 Quality Assurance
