Job summary
Anderson Wright Consulting is seeking an Electrical Testing and Fixed Wirer Tester to carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across varied industrial and commercial environments on the south coast. You will work autonomously within a national engineering team, delivering high‑quality inspection and testing with client-facing responsibilities.
Required 18th Edition (BS7671) and 2391/2394/2395 inspection and testing qualifications, plus driving licence.
Qualifications
- 18th Edition (BS7671) Regulations essential.
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification essential.
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1, 2 & 3 or 2365 Diploma) desirable.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and electrical testing of installations in commercial and industrial environments.
- Conduct EICRs.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, 18th Edition regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales.
- Provide professional technical advice to clients.
- Maintain high customer service standards.
- Identify potential additional service opportunities.
