Job summary

Une entreprise de gestion immobilière dynamique recherche un ingénieur EICR pour réaliser des tests de conformité et des travaux de réparation dans ses différentes propriétés. Ce rôle principal nécessite de travailler principalement à Liverpool avec des déplacements réguliers à Manchester. L'architecte doit assurer la conformité avec les réglementations électriques actuelles tout en soutenant l'équipe de maintenance dans diverses tâches.

Qualifications

  • Licencié de conduire britannique requis.
  • Expérience en tests EICR résidentiels souhaitée.
  • Adhésion à un organisme professionnel comme NAPIT ou NICEIC est désirable.

Responsibilities

Electrical Tester - EICRs


EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Engineer

We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for testing to become our EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Engineer, responsible for all aspects of EICR Testing and remedial works at X1 residential and student properties throughout Manchester and Liverpool. The role is predominantly Liverpool based, however there will be regular travel to Manchester required.

Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Completing relevant checks and produce certification such as include EICRs within our residential properties
  • Completing all subsequent aspects of remedial electrical work
  • Diagnose electrical faults and conduct repairs
  • Ensure strict compliance with current electrical safety regulations.
  • Supporting wider maintenance team with general maintenance where required

Essential requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018)
  • Level 3 qualification in Inspection and Testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395)
  • Experience in residential EICR Testing
  • Experience in general residential electrical work
  • Membership of relevant professional body such as NAPIT or NICEIC as part of a Competent Person Scheme is desirable
  • Ability to ensure compliance with current electrical safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player.
  • Good organisational skills needed to manage workload and calendars efficiently.

Salary - 30,000 - 40,000

Contract type: Permanent, full time
Hours: 9.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am - 4.30pm Friday
