Job summary

Southampton is seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join a rapidly growing local electrical contractor. The role offers £45,000 plus overtime, bonus schemes, a van and fuel card, plus training and technical development with immediate start available.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3, AM2, 18th Edition, and 2391-52 testing and inspection, with at least 2 years' EICR experience and a full UK driving licence. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• AM2 and 18th Edition required.
• 2391-52 testing and inspection certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' EICR experience.
• Full UK driving licence and DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical compliance testing.
• Undertake remedial electrical works after testing.
• Complete 3 EICRs per day, travel between jobs using van and equipment.
• Identify electrical faults, defects, damage and potential safety hazards.
