Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrician to work around the Oxford area on EICRs, repairs, and maintenance within social housing. This role will start temporarily at £23 p/h with the opportunity to go on the books.

The Electrical Tester will be responsible for:

1. Completing 3 EICR tests per day using their skillset
2. Signing off electrical tests
3. Fault finding and fixing urgent C1 and C2 faults
4. Communicating and liaising with tenants
5. Traveling to different sites to conduct electrical tests

I am looking to speak to an Electrical Tester who:

• Has experience doing electrical testing
• Has experience working on social housing contracts
• Has a full UK driving license
• Has a clear criminal record (DBS checks will be required)
• Has 18th edition and 2391 or equivalent qualification

In return, the Electrical Tester will receive:

• £23 per hour - approximately £38,000 annually
• Company van and fuel card
• Potential for a permanent position after 12 weeks with a salary of £40,000 after probation
