Job description

Strong Group Recruitment are working on behalf of it's client who are looking for an Electrical Tester needed around Portsmouth

Start: ASAP
Duration: Long run of work
Industry: Social Housing
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break, 8 hours paid per day)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical testing and inspections in social housing properties to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards.
  • Perform periodic testing, including EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), and remedial works as necessary.
  • Complete accurate and detailed reports following each test, noting any defects, non-compliances, or recommendations.
  • Maintain and manage all testing equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working order

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Own van and testing equipment
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification is a minimum requirement.
  • Proven experience in electrical testing, particularly in domestic or social housing settings.

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Electrical Testing and Inspection qualification.

The hourly rate on offer for this role is £26.00PH - paid weekly CIS
