We are seeking a Qualified Electrician for a Commercial Testing Role in the South West Region, based in Exeter. Our client is a leader in lighting maintenance, LED installation, and electrical compliance testing, servicing over 10,000 sites for more than 80 clients across various sectors, including major UK retail groups.

The role is mobile (transport provided), covering a geographic area with all clients within the area (South West). Mon to Fri hours, with optional weekend overtime, and some working away.

About the role:

• Retail, industrial, and commercial work, including compliance visits and remedial works to NICEIC standards
• Emergency light testing, Fire alarm testing, PAT testing, Fire extinguisher servicing
• Lighting maintenance and occasional project work
• PPM maintenance
• Reporting to the Head Office, liaising with clients on-site (customer-focused)
• Managing your own geographical area and organizing jobs

About the person:

• Fully Qualified Electrician with 2365 with NVQ 3 or 236 parts 1 and 2, and 17th or 18th Edition (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
• PPM maintenance experience
• IT literate, able to use Smartphone/Tablet for communication and reporting
• Ability to carry and use steps/ladders for work at height
• Commercial Testing experience
• Smart, professional, with customer-facing skills
