• Responsible for Electrical Panel Testing & Fault Finding.
• Conduct Primary & Secondary Injection Testing.
• Perform Flash Testing and complete Test Booklets.

Role Summary

The Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for Electrical Panel Testing & Fault Finding to support production within a switchgear manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Electrical Panel Testing & Fault Finding
• Primary & Secondary Injection Testing
• Flash Testing
• Accurate completion of Test Booklets
• Client Factory & Site Acceptance Tests

The Person

• Minimum 1-year relevant experience
• Understanding of Electrical Drawings/Control Systems
• Experience in SWG Panel Building

Preferred Skills

• Electrical Engineering background or third-level qualification
• Testing & Verification courses
• Knowledge of Low Voltage systems and standards
• PLC Software knowledge
• HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
• Time served Electrician
• Knowledge of IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
• Experience in fixed wire testing
