Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking an Electrical Test Operator for an initial 12-month role based in Bolton. You will conduct test tasks in accordance with certification procedures and workmanship standards, working 37 hours per week under umbrella pay terms of £29.02–£30.38 per hour.

The role requires an electrical apprenticeship and significant test experience, with security clearance (BPSS acceptable to start). A versatile skill set and strong attention to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical Apprenticeship and related vocational qualifications.
• Team player with planning and organising skills.
• Significant electrical test experience.
• No colour blindness.

Responsibilities

• Certify the product in line with certification procedure.
• Maintain certification and audits.
• Apply versatile skills across tasks.
• Be fully conversant with equipment, tools and measuring instruments.
• Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and test times are met.
• Check and complete paperwork for the data pack.
• Maintain high workmanship and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Communicate best practice to team members.
