Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to develop further in inspection & testing with ongoing training and clear long-term development. The role involves producing EICRs and BS 7671 work across regional retail and commercial sites.

You’ll work from home-based locations in Scotland, with a company van, steady hours, and opportunities to broaden your technical responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Experience performing periodic inspection and testing to BS 7671 and producing EICRs.
• Apprenticeship or SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation completed.
• ECS Gold Card and relevant 18th Edition/SVQ certifications.

Responsibilities

• Periodic inspection & testing and EICR production across retail and commercial sites.
• 40 hours/week: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-14:30 (site dependent).
• Provide practical remedial recommendations using digital reporting systems.
