Job description

The client is an established and successful manufacturer test machinery and equipment.

They are seeking to recruit an Electrical Test Engineer for their operations in Worcester

Salary - £28,000 to £31,000 per annum.

Benefits of working with the company are as follows;

Hours of work are Monday to Friday on Days.

The main responsibility of the Electrical Test Engineer is to carry out testing on the products control panels and to highlight any problems or issues.

Responsibilities and duties are as follows;

  • Testing of the machines PCB, sub assemblies, looms, valves, control systems etc.
  • Write test reports.
  • Highlight any required changes to the test procedures and liaise with the technical department to update procedures accordingly.
  • Programming of PCB's.
  • Recording of test times and updating of the company accordingly.
  • Support the assembly of the company products and machinery when required.
  • PAT testing of new equipment.
Experience and qualifications for the role are as follows;
  • Electrical experience (Analogue and Digital).
  • Able to follow test procedures and read electrical drawings.
  • Good PC literacy and basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good team player and a "can do" attitude.

The company are based in Worcester so is commutable from Kidderminster, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Tewkesbury.
