Qualifications

• Current qualifications as a qualified Electrician.

Responsibilities

• Act as electrical duty holder for the site.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety schemes and assist in investigations.
• Deliver key performance indicators for operations and maintenance.
• Conduct fault finding and testing of systems.
• Maintain and test SCADA systems.

Skills

Qualified Electrician

Electrical Technicians

Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently looking to recruit Electrical Technicians for our well established client located on the Isle of Wight.

Responsibilities:

Electrical duty holder for the site.

Play an active role in plant safety schemes such as Near Misses or Incident Investigations, provide support where required and implement any recommendations arising from such schemes.

Assist in delivering the Operations & Maintenance Teams KPI's.

Implementation and testing of software modules and systems.

Conduct fault finding and investigations.

Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, method statements and guidance documents.

Implementation, maintaining and testing of SCADA systems.

Take ownership of the Safety Instrumented System including maintenance and proof testing.

To assist with scheduled and unscheduled outage activities as required, to ensure all aspects of C&I work are completed to program, in a safe and efficient manner.

Complete accurate maintenance reporting within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Assist in identifying the failure modes for all apparatus.

Skills:

Qualified Electrician (essential).

Experience of electrical installation systems related to Domestic and Industrial premises.

Practical and proven understanding of Health & Safety associated with electrical engineering through construction, operation, inspection and maintenance.

Provided technically sound design solutions including all associated reporting and cost estimating.

Qualifications:

Completed level 3 apprenticeship.

BS7671:2018 wiring regulations.

NVQ level 3.

L3 award in inspection and testing.

Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm - 4 on 4 off.
Pay rate: £300 - £400 per day (£ - £ – which is subject to experience.
Location: Newport - Isle of Wight
Contract: 3 month Duration
