Electrical Technicians

Taskmaster Resources LTD is currently looking to recruit Electrical Technicians for our well-established client located on the Isle of Wight.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical duty holder for the site.
• Participate in plant safety schemes such as Near Misses or Incident Investigations, support and implement recommendations.
• Assist in delivering the Operations & Maintenance Teams' KPIs.
• Implementation and testing of software modules and systems.
• Conduct fault finding and investigations.
• Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, method statements, and guidance documents.
• Implementation, maintenance, and testing of SCADA systems.
• Manage the Safety Instrumented System, including maintenance and proof testing.
• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled outage activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Complete maintenance reports within the CMMS.
• Identify failure modes for all apparatus.

Skills:

• Qualified Electrician (essential).
• Experience with electrical installation systems in Domestic and Industrial premises.
• Understanding of Health & Safety in electrical engineering.
• Provide technically sound design solutions with reporting and cost estimating.

Qualifications:

• Completed Level 3 apprenticeship.
• BS7671:2018 wiring regulations.
• NVQ Level 3.
• L3 award in inspection and testing.

Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm - 4 on 4 off.

Pay rate: £300 - £400 per day (subject to experience).

Location: Newport - Isle of Wight

Contract: 3 months
