Electrical Technician - Hull

£40,000 - £45,000 OTE £51,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 39 hours + 1 in 3 on-call rota

Our client is a leading manufacturer committed to producing products of exceptional quality. Due to growth into various export markets, they are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their Engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Ensuring work is carried out following policies and procedures, including issuing safe permit to work
  • Ensuring compliance with preventative maintenance requirements across the facility
  • Identifying appropriate isolations and conducting start-up & shut-down processes
  • Carrying out risk assessments, reviewing documentation, and engaging in continuous improvement projects
  • Responding to breakdowns & reactive work, utilizing PM systems
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
  • Continuous improvement knowledge
  • Experienced Electrical Technician
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting low voltage electrical equipment (HV & ATEX advantageous)
  • Knowledge of process and equipment operations desirable
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
  • Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production environments
