Electrical Technician
Location: Willand (Devon)
Salary: £24.39 p/h

Shifts: Continental 4 on 4 off (Rotating days and nights) 6am-6pm/6pm-6am

About the Role

The Electrical Technician will be part of the engineering maintenance team ensuring the smooth operation of factory machinery and equipment. This is a hands-on position where you'll work as part of a dedicated team, responding to breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance, and contributing to larger projects to improve production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and effectively to electrical breakdowns
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Work closely with both engineering and non-engineering teams to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings on production lines

About You

This role is perfect for a proactive, hands-on professional with a strong electrical foundation and experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 (Apprenticeship/College)
  • Proven experience in an electrical engineering role, with expertise in fault-finding and problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in food manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable
