Job summary

Bilfinger UK Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Koura Global team in Runcorn. The role involves calibration, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, with a focus on hazardous areas in a regulated environment.

You will work across plant operations to ensure safety, compliance and timely repairs. Essential qualifications include an apprenticeship/NVQ level 3, City & Guilds 2391, a full UK driving licence, and knowledge of DSEAR/ATEX (COMPEX 01-04).

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in the oil & gas, chemical industry or other regulated industry.
• Extensive experience working in hazardous areas.
• Essential knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX legislation (COMPEX 01-04).

Responsibilities

• Follow plant policies.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and replace Electrical Equipment.
• Maintain process equipment.
• Perform required compliance testing and documentation.
• Reduce cost of repairing equipment while maintaining or increasing quality.
• Work closely with plant operations to evaluate routine and emergency instrument work.
• Wear proper safety equipment in appropriate areas.
• Move around process equipment and confined spaces.
• Check, Examine and Record on Customer Databases (IT Averse).
• Comprehend Technical Drawings and Other Visual Instructions.
• Coordinate with CTF Plant Engineering Team.
• Inspect Equipment.
• Install and Dismantle Equipment.
• Maintain Equipment.
