Are you an electrical wire person with experience in a manufacturing environment looking for a secure, site-based role wiring control panels and special purpose machines working to detailed electrical drawings and enjoying training, progression, and bonus opportunities in a growing global company?

On offer is a great opportunity to join a skilled team on-site in Somerset. You will be wiring control panels and special purpose machines to detailed drawings. You'll also work with PLCs, motors, drives, and HMIs, and carry out on machine wiring including trunking, cable trays, and sensors all to high safety and quality standards.

They supply specialised equipment to the converting and printing industries alongside offering customer breakdown services and repairs.

The Role

• Wire control panels and special purpose machines to detailed electrical drawings.
• Install and connect PLCs, motors, drives, relays, transformers, HMIs, sensors, and cable management systems.
• Perform on-machine wiring including trunking, cable trays, and junction boxes.
• Conduct fault finding and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and wiring standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.

The Person

• Fully time-served electrician with control panel and on-machine wiring experience.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings and knowledgeable of 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
