Electrical Technician - Bioresources - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Employer: Anglian Water | Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire | Salary: Circa £55k depending on experience (including 15% shift allowance) + overtime | Closing date: 8 May 2025

Job Type: Full Time | Hours: 40.25 hours/week across a 7-day working pattern | Status: Permanent

Role Overview

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you will be part of a maintenance team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems across water recycling assets. Your work supports the safe operation of these assets, contributing to environmental protection, renewable energy production, and supporting sustainability and Net Zero goals.

Candidate Requirements
  • Industrial electrical apprenticeship
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 (electrical or engineering maintenance)
  • City and Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, including 3-phase switchgear, control systems, telemetry, actuated valves, motors
  • Strong health and safety awareness
  • Full UK driving license
  • Desirable: DSEAR COMPEX training, gas and steam systems knowledge (training provided)
