Circa £ 5 5k depending on experience, (this includes 15% shift allowance) + Overtime is available

Build a water industry for the future

Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, as part of a site maintenance team you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and rectifying faults, as well as completing planned preventative maintenance and condition-based proactive maintenance. This includes Electrical and Instrumentation work across all Water Recycling Bioresources assets on site.

Your role will support operational teams and enable the safe operation of Bioresources and Water Recycling assets. This is crucial to our mission of protecting the environment we serve through wastewater treatment and producing renewable energy and high-quality bioresource products, which support Circular Economy, Sustainability, and Net Zero goals.

What does it take to be a Bioresources Maintenance Technician?

  1. Possess an industrial electrical apprenticeship
  2. NVQ level 3 or 4 or equivalent (electrical or engineering maintenance)
  3. ONC/OND in electrical engineering
  4. City and Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
  5. Proven electrical experience in an industrial environment, along with a good working knowledge of 3 phase electrical switch gear, control systems, telemetry systems, actuated valves and motors
  6. Strong awareness of health and safety
  7. Previous DSEAR COMPEX training is desirable (training will be provided)
  8. Knowledge of gas and steam systems is desirable (training will be provided)
  9. Flexible and resilient approach to work - hours, training & adapting to the business needs when necessary
  10. Advocate of collaboration, someone who enjoys working as part of a team
  11. Full UK driving license
